The American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) defines Industrial hygienists as scientists and engineers committed to protecting the health and safety of people in the workplace and the community. The industrial hygienist is part of a broader family of professionals often referred to collectively as the practice of occupational and environmental health and safety.

Roles of the industrial hygienist include the following:

Anticipation, identification, and recognizing workplace hazards
Evaluating the workplace for current risks, emerging, and developing risks
Analyzing risks arising from identified workplace hazards

Do you perform employee and area noise sampling?

Yes we do! Pre calibration, post calibration, and graphical reporting is all included. Contact us and we can discuss your needs.

Can you perform air sampling for my employees?

Yes! Pumps or badges are no problem for us. Contact us and we will be happy to provide you with a quote.

Do you offer Ergonomic assessments?

Yes we do. In addition to assessments, our team can recommend corrective actions, as well as use our resources to create and install solutions for you.

How detailed are your IH reports?

At a minimum, reports include an executive summary, detailed report of the study, recommendations, certificates of calibration, analytical results from the laboratory, and employee notification letters. Can I get a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) to sign the report?

Yes. All work is performed by or under the direction of a CSP/CHMM. If requested, an additional peer review can be added to your scope of work.
